mauricer - electronic soul
Welcome at » 2009» August

The summer slowly seems to come to an end now. The last festivals play. We have been to a great one, the Berlin Festival. Amazing venue at the old Tempelhof airport and great artists like Whomadwho, Aeroplane, Jarvis Cocker or Deichkind. Good fun and always a pleasure to spend a weekend in the capital. Back in Hamburg now for a lot of work but time enough to put together this little summery disco mix, a blend of recent tunes i liked the most and perfectly fit to the latest chill out temperatures and spend-outside days. Really hope you enjoy it and am looking forward to some response in the feedback section. As usual you can listen to the mix here or download it via the link below. All the best and see you in September for some more tunes!

Did you know Maayan Nidam. I didn’t until she release one of the latest Resident Advisor mixes, a good sign for being a quality artist from the electronic music genre. Now she released her new album and you find is diversity that easily blends from Jazz to Techno. It sounds like there is not much instrumental sources she uses or needs and the result is even more impressive. Play it often!
