happy new year to all of you. hope you had a great time over christmas and new year and a good start into 2010. i can only hope this one will take a bit longer than the very fast last year. anyway, like the most of europe we are covered in snow brought to us by “daisy” - hence the credits in this months mix title/cover. i do normally like snow but without a mountain nearby it’s pretty much useless and seems to more or less paralyze our usually “highly efficient” country. hope we will have enough of it by the beginning of march when we leave for a week of boarding to austria. enough chat - the january mix goes right back into the time of deep cuts, which was one of my first mix series years ago focussing on the deep side of house. that is what i think will be the main direction of my blog in 2010 as that sound is still one of my favorites. the mix is an excerpt or a short version of a radioshow (soundlook) i was guestmixing with my mate timo. it was aired as a 2hr-version on www.byte.fm and is a frequent every first wednesday of the month. highly recommend on http://www.byte.fm if you fancy the deep house - and who doesn’t? so i hope you enjoy what you hear and as usual i am happy to receive some feedback from you guys - either by email or in the feedback section.
